Neural coaxial guiding system

Infusion rates of contrast medium vs. pressure

The Micro Occlusion Balloon Catheter (3.0F/2.8F), and Micro Catheter-10 manufactured by Boston Scientific Corporation, was passed through Medikit's Slimguide, and two other catheters from companies A and B. The graph shows infusion rates of contrast medium vs. pressure. The Slimguide's larger inner lumen allowed for high flow rates at lower pressure (independent Medikit comparison).

Cases

The wide neck shape of the aneurism in the basilar tip is visualized.

The Slimguide is advanced from the Lt. Femoral to the Lt. VA, then the Rt. Femoral to the Rt. VA. The Micro Occlusion Balloon Catheter is used in a balloon-assist, and two Micro Catheters are used to carry out the embolization.

Following embolization, the embolized area is confirmed via angiography.
